Welcome! Welcome to our website and, if you are new to the area, welcome to New Canaan.
The New Canaan Men’s Club was founded in 1977 by a group of men who met regularly at the YMCA to play racquetball. While the Club has grown since then, providing friendship and fellowship to members remains a core mission of our Club. We meet on Friday mornings in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, but we are nonreligious, nonpartisan, as well as a non-profit community organization 501(c)(3). Each Friday meeting has a speaker covering interesting and timely topics that entertain, educate and inspire us.

Dr. Susan Herbst
Professor of Political Science at UConn
- Dr. Susan Herbst is a Professor of Political Science at UConn – Stamford. She previously served as President of UConn from 2010 to 2019. Prior to her appointment to the presidency, Dr. Herbst served as executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer at the University System of Georgia.

June 26th, Jean Meyer and Amy Ewing, Stamford Interfaith Refugee Settlement (SIRS). They will discuss how their organization serves the needs of immigrants and refugees in our area.
