Welcome! Welcome to our website and, if you are new to the area, welcome to New Canaan.
The New Canaan Men’s Club was founded in 1977 by a group of men who met regularly at the YMCA to play racquetball. While the Club has grown since then, providing friendship and fellowship to members remains a core mission of our Club. We meet on Friday mornings in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, but we are nonreligious, nonpartisan, as well as a non-profit community organization 501(c)(3). Each Friday meeting has a speaker covering interesting and timely topics that entertain, educate and inspire us.

Dr. Bryan Luizzi
Superintendent of the New Canaan Public Schools
- Dr. Bryan Luizzi was appointed Superintendent of the New Canaan Public Schools in 2014. He previously served as Principal of New Canaan High School for three years.
- Prior to joining NCHS, Dr. Luizzi began his career as an English teacher at Newtown High School before moving to the Litchfield and Brookfield school districts, serving as Brookfield High School’s Principal starting in 2006.
- Dr. Luizzi earned a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Clemson, a master’s degree in Education Technology from Western Connecticut State, an advanced degree in Educational Administration from Sacred Heart and a Doctor of Education from the Teachers College at Columbia.
