With heavy hearts, we share that Pete Stair, a longtime member and cherished friend, passed away on October 18th at the age of 90. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service. However, Pete’s memory will live on in the New Canaan Men’s Club and the many other organizations in our community that he dedicated himself to over the years. He will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Welcome! Welcome to our website and, if you are new to the area, welcome to New Canaan.

The New Canaan Men’s Club was founded in 1977 by a group of men who met regularly at the YMCA to play racquetball. While the Club has grown since then, providing friendship and fellowship to members remains a core mission of our Club. We meet on Friday mornings in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, but we are nonreligious, nonpartisan, as well as a non-profit community organization (501(c)(3). Each Friday meeting has a speaker covering interesting and often a timely topic.
